Noé Barnett is a walking contradiction. His unique life experience has given him the ability to act as a mediator to different people groups and ideologies. As a result, he paints polarity. In a culture so diametric, his work is a direct attack on the ideological comfort zone. Intentionally juxtaposing dichotomous images and symbol, to spark thought, conversation and bridge gaps.
As someone who’s only been painting murals for roughly a year, he has yet to be able to really extend his studio practice to a larger scale. And this would be a great opportunity to do so.
